On Christmas day we made the trek from Madera up into to the Sierra National Forest to ski China Peak (California).

We passed over the steaming waters of the San Joaquin River, stopped to see first snow at Shaver Lake, and got in a few good runs at Sierra Summit.

Besides my brother breaking his ankle, it was a good day.

I didn't shoot much, but these are my favorite shots from what I did get.
