Who am I
I kind of think these pages are silly, because I mean really, who cares about me? It's my work that matters, right?
My name is Tasha and I'm a young photographer based in Los Angeles, California.
I've always had a passion for photography and the visual arts. Besides photography, I dabble in videography, as well painting and drawing. I started out messing around with my dad's old Nikon, and then wound up as the main photographer for my High School's newspaper. Though I enjoyed that, it wasn't much of an outlet for my creativity.
I started taking more pictures as I got older, and people took notice. After a while, I began to work with my dad, shooting weddings and family portraits. Before I knew it, I was booking my own jobs.
Besides photography and art, traveling is my favorite hobby. Even the annoying parts make me giddy - like having to get up early to get to the airport, or the hustle and bustle once you get there. Most of all though, I love experiencing new things. I love finding little, tucked away cafés in Paris with a to-die-for menu, or hiking snow covered mountains in Norway. I love meeting new people, getting my passport stamped and exploring to my hearts content.
Coincidentally my two favorite hobbies go hand in hand. I enjoy sharing my experiences, and I hope you enjoy them in turn.
